TREATMENTS

LED (Light emitting diode) therapy is a non ablative, non invasive skin treatment for various conditions including acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and the ageing skin.

It is used to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the skin, thereby reducing inflammation and promoting healing.

Each treatment takes about 20-30min and up to 8 treatment sessions may be required.

There is no downtime!

Dr. Jodi Bibby performs all LED treatment sessions at UrbanGoddess Aesthetics in Saskatoon.

PERSONAL

ASSESSMENT

During the consultation we will discuss your treatment goals and desired outcomes.  An assessment will be made of the best treatment plan going forward which may incorporate LED treatments and a skincare regimen.

Once we have settled on a treatment plan, the number of treatment sessions required will be addressed and your future appointments can be planned.

Photographs will be taken before and after treatment sessions to provide objective evidence of treatment outcomes.

TREATMENT

Your face will be cleaned using a gentle cleanser and any makeup remaining will be removed for the treatment to begin. The LED device will be applied to the areas for treatment and you will feel an increasing warmth on the skin. It does not burn. Treatment sessions will last for about 20min. Once the treatment is completed a calming cream will be applied to the skin. You can expect to feel some warmth on the skin and some mild redness following the treatment but this resolves in a few minutes and no further side effects are expected. Followup sessions are ideally 1 week apart for optimal results.
